The first heat of the French National Championship was held in Le Havre in northern France. This place is very popular in France due to the great infrastructure, and there is a huge permanent carpet track. About 80 drivers were there to compete in two categories: 30 in the Sport category (17T motor limitation) and 50 in Supersport category (EFRA rules and Sorex 32 tires).
For the Sport finals, there were 5 XRAYs in the A main, with Joan Urbain winning the first 2 heats and so winning the race! In Supersport finals, J. Delalondre and J. Carpentier were fighting for victory. J. Delalondre won the first 2 heats and claimed the victory. Mathias Rascol, quite unlucky during the finals, finished 8.
